    • One in Eleven North Dakotans are employed in transportation.
    • Annual revenue from a single truck is $227,000, on average over 90% of that revenue is put back into the economy in fuel & equipment purchases, wages, taxes, and other business related expenses.
    • In 2004, North Dakota had 86,782 miles of public roads. On these roads all motorists traveled 7.6 billion miles.
